On 7/7/7, at Mel and Dave's rehearsal dinner, Annie asked me if I'd be interested in doing a mosaic for the Zach Scott Theater's production of Jesu Christi Super Star, the hispanic version. Awesome, by the way!! They wanted the back walls of the theater to be covered in mosaics and then they were auctioned off to raise funds. So I got to do one. I did this Lotus in honor of my friend Trey, who had just died. I basically did it in a weekend in a cloud of tears and I thought it was really powerful. It didn't l ook like any other one there and it went for a whole bunch of money.
